MetaVoid

MetaVoid is a five-piece progressive death metal band from Augsburg, Germany, formed in 2014. Their guitars are tuned extremely low, and the band names Meshuggah, Vildhjarta, SikTh and Gorguts as influences. The debut EP "Parasymmetry" (2014) was followed by "Heliosophist" (2018), a five-track concept piece about the birth, life and death of our solar system, and "IIIIII0000" (2022). In 2024 a fire destroyed their rehearsal space along with almost all of their gear and merch; the single "Particles" was written and recorded in the days after. "P4R45YMM37RY" (2025) is a complete re-recording of the debut, followed by the single "Stasis" in 2026. Line-up: Ruben Schlagowski (vocals), Daniel Immerz (drums), Philipp Schlothauer and Jan Hase (guitars), Thomas Niederreiner (bass).
