Misery Index is a death metal/grindcore band formed in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2001. Following the departure of Jason Netherton and Kevin Talley from Dying Fetus, the two joined forces with Mike Harrison and Sparky Voyles to create Misery Index. The band's sound blends elements of death metal and grindcore, characterized by aggressive instrumentation and socio-political lyrical themes.
