Mittel Alta are an Austrian duo active since 2023, combining folk instrumentation with rap-style delivery and comedic German-language lyrics set in a medieval world. Performing as two costumed characters, their songs revolve around medieval themes, drinking, and folk humor. Since 2023 they have released several EPs and albums and played prominent German-speaking festival stages.
