Mittel zum Zweck

Mittel zum Zweck is a project from Lüneburg, Germany, formed in 2018 out of the band Rest in Risiko. With accordion, violin, electric guitar and drums, their sound sits between street music, anarcho-folk and (minimal) punk; members also play in Riot of Rats, And the Red Button and Kapelle Affenjunge. Lyrically the band addresses gentrification, anti-fascism and a hierarchy-free society; releases include "Unfug bleibt!", "Pandemischer Trash" and "Grober Unfug".
