Monolith

Monolith is a funeral doom metal band formed in France in 2003. They are known for their extremely slow tempos, crushing riffs, and lengthy compositions, often exceeding 20 minutes per song. Their discography includes albums such as 'Monolithe I' (2007), 'Monolithe II' (2010), 'Monolithe III' (2012), 'Monolithe IV' (2013), 'Epsilon Aurigae' (2015), and 'Nebula Septem' (2023). Given the Valhalla Metal Pub in Köln is a metal venue, and Monolith is playing there, it is highly likely this is the French funeral doom band.
