Moritz Töpfer

Moritz Töpfer is a pianist and keyboardist from Dresden who studied piano (jazz/rock/pop and classical). He plays keyboard in BSG 9 (Bert Stephan Group), a Dresden improvisation ensemble founded in 2006 around Bert Stephan (bass, trumpet) and Matthias Hüttich (drums, electronics), whose sound blends kraut- and spacerock with modern electronic influences. He also works as a freelance musician in several cross-genre projects, including as pianist for Vocabella and Kathy Leen.
