Mrs. King & Her Jewels

Mrs. King & Her Jewels is a German blues formation centered on singer Meike König, initiated by Andreas Bock, a multiple German Blues Award winner (drums/percussion). The line-up also includes Marius Labsch on piano (Hildesheim) and Frank Rihm on blues harp and vocals (Bremen), with occasional saxophone and guitar support. Musically the band moves between blues, boogie woogie, soul and rock'n'roll in the style of Etta James and Bessie Smith.
