Munly & the Lupercalians

Munly & the Lupercalians is a project of Denver songwriter Jay Munly, who also plays in Slim Cessna's Auto Club and DBUK and writes the songs for all three bands. The lineup largely consists of Slim Cessna's Auto Club members, who appear on stage as residents of the fictional town of Lupercalia. Musically the band pairs the gothic country of the Denver Sound with heavy, doomy passages and two drummers.
