Murphy's Law is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1982 in Astoria, Queens, part of the New York hardcore (NYHC) scene. Vocalist Jimmy Drescher is the only remaining founding member. The band blended rockabilly elements with hardcore early on and is known for high-energy, party-oriented live shows.
