Nachtmahr

Nachtmahr is the aggressive EBM and industrial project of Austrian artist Thomas Rainer, founded in 2007 in Vienna as a solo endeavor inspired by his DJ sets bridging industrial and techno sounds. The debut EP *Kunst ist Krieg* featured the club hit 'BoomBoomBoom,' followed by the 2008 album *Feuer frei!*, whose single 'Katharsis' reached No. 3 on the DAC charts and dominated industrial dancefloors worldwide. Known for militaristic aesthetics drawing from Rainer's army background, Nachtmahr has delivered provocative live shows at festivals like Wave-Gotik-Treffen and Amphi, alongside extensive tours including across the US.
