Naked Lunch

Naked Lunch is an Austrian band formed in 1991 in Klagenfurt around singer/guitarist Oliver Welter, named after the William S. Burroughs novel. Starting out as an alternative rock act, their sound evolved into a more electronic-tinged indie rock, connecting with the Weilheim scene around The Notwist. Albums such as 'Songs for the Exhausted' (2004) and the chart-charting 'All Is Fever' (2013), followed by 'Lights and a Slight Taste of Death' (2025), mark milestones in the band's history.
