New World Depression

New World Depression is an old school death metal band from Emsdetten in the Münsterland region, formed in 2005. Inspired by bands like Asphyx, Bolt Thrower, and Obituary, they have developed a groovy, raw sound. With seven studio albums – including "Descent" (2020), "Interment of Sins" (2023), and "Abysmal Void" (2025) – they are one of the most experienced death metal acts from North Rhine-Westphalia. Their albums were produced at the renowned Soundlodge Studio in East Frisia.
