Nytt Land

Nytt Land is a dark folk duo from Kalachinsk, Siberia, founded in 2013 by husband and wife Anatoly and Natalya Pakhalenko. Their music fuses traditional Siberian throat singing, shamanic rhythms, and ancient instruments like tagelharpa and frame drums with themes drawn from the Poetic Edda and indigenous Siberian spiritual practices. The band has released numerous albums, including "Fimbulvinter" on Cold Spring Records and "Ritual" on Napalm Records.
