Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are an English electronic band formed in Wirral, Merseyside in 1978. Founded by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, the band emerged from the late 1970s electronic music scene and became known for their innovative and experimental sound.
