Opium du Peuple

Opium du Peuple is a French punk rock band formed in Albi in 2006. The group specializes in reinterpreting classic French variété and chanson songs in a punk, rock and metal style, often performing in costumes with theatrical staging. Members previously played in bands including Skunk, Condkoï and Dirty Fonzy. Their discography includes 'Best Off' (2010), 'La révolte des Opiumettes' (2013), 'La revanche des clones' (2015), '7 Salopards' (2017) and 'La malédiction de la Blackburne' (2023).
