Orecus

Orecus are a modern death metal band from Stockholm, formed in 2011 and relaunched in 2020, fusing riff-focused modern death metal with old-school aggression. After the EP "Conclusion" (2016) they released the albums "The Obliterationist" (2021) and "Dreadnought" (2024) on Violent Groove; the single "Pacifist" features Soilwork's Björn "Speed" Strid. In December 2026 they support Nile on their European tour.
