Orion Band & Orchestra

ORION is a Metallica tribute band from Salzburg, Austria, performing the show "Symphonic Tribute to Metallica" in the style of the S&M album together with their own Orion Orchestra. Frontman Tobias Regner became the first rock singer to win "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (the German Idol format) in 2006. The project references Metallica's S&M concert in Berlin on 19 November 1999, where band and orchestra performed together, and has featured original musicians from that concert.
