Parts & Labor

Parts & Labor was formed in 2002 by BJ Warshaw and Dan Friel in Brooklyn, New York, blending noise elements with strong melodies, citing influences like Mission of Burma, Hüsker Dü, and the Boredoms. The band released five studio albums, including releases on Jagjaguwar and Ernest Jenning Record Co., before disbanding after a 10th-anniversary farewell show in February 2012. In 2026 the band reunited with a double-drummer lineup (Christopher Weingarten and Joe Wong) and released the double album "Set of All Sets".
