Path of Resistance

Path of Resistance formed in 1995/96 in Syracuse, NY, as a side project of members of the straight-edge band Earth Crisis after drummer Dennis Merrick was injured in an accident. The band released the album "Who Dares Wins" (1996, Victory Records), featuring three lead vocalists including Earth Crisis singer Karl Buechner, and later "Can't Stop the Truth" (2006). Musically the band plays stripped-down, metal-tinged hardcore with lyrics centered on the straight-edge lifestyle.
