Pinhead is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Ilja John Lappin, known as the bassist and vocalist of progressive metal band The Hirsch Effekt. Based in Berlin, Pinhead blends progressive metal, post-rock, and ambient into a dark, atmospheric sound. The debut album "Egomessiah" was released in 2025 via Season of Mist.
