Planlos X

Planlos X traces back to Planlos, whose songs are regarded as classics of GDR punk rock: politically explicit lyrics steeped in an oppressive poetry, heard only at illegal shows of the East Berlin punk scene. In 1983 Planlos played a highly secret gig with Die Toten Hosen; the band's end came mainly from constant Stasi surveillance and call-ups to the National People's Army. In 2022 the band reappeared as a cross between Planlos and the Leipzig punk band L'Attentat, and in 2025 'Smog & Ruß' became their first record, pairing the original recordings with re-recorded versions.
