Pretty Average is a Berlin band led by frontwoman Candy Bassas and guitarist Sergi Cabanes, who relocated to Berlin from Barcelona and formed the four-piece in late 2021. Their noisy-yet-ethereal sound draws on Galaxie 500, Spiritualized, New Order, The Cure and Lou Reed. In 2024 the band received a Musicboard Berlin scholarship; their album 'The Highs and Lows of Being Pretty Average' was released including on cassette.
