Primus

Primus is a pioneering alternative metal and experimental rock band from El Sobrante, California. Formed in 1984, they blend elements of funk, metal, punk, and progressive rock into a truly unique sound, led by the unconventional bass stylings of Les Claypool. Primus has been described as everything from 'thrash-funk' to 'absurdist funk-rock', creating a genre all their own.
