Progproms

ProgProms is a Dutch project founded in 2019 by Edward Reekers (Kayak, Ayreon) with a one-off concert at Boerderij in Zoetermeer, which grew into an annual tour of Dutch venues held between Christmas and New Year. The core band features musicians who have played with Kayak, Ayreon, Arena, Frank Boeijen and Liesbeth List, joined by rotating guest vocalists. Following Reekers' death in October 2025, the fifth edition in 2026 continues as a tribute to him, featuring singers Wudstik, Cindy Oudshoorn, Nadine Pruim and Joe Payne. The set draws on symphonic/progressive rock classics from Genesis, Yes, The Alan Parsons Project and Dream Theater.
