Punch Drunk Poets are a rock, funk, and psychedelic trio from the Washington D.C. area. Formed in 2007, the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Aki, bassist Nate Jakes, and drummer Max Shapiro. They have released one studio album, 'Another State of Mind', which was launched with a show at Jammin Java in 2009.
