Raven is an English heavy metal band formed in 1974 by the Gallagher brothers, bassist and vocalist John and guitarist Mark. As pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, their lean, tough sound helped pave the way for thrash and speed metal. Over their 48-year career, Raven have released 15 studio albums, the most recent being 'Metal City' in 2020.
