Reaper (Kassel)

Reaper are a heavy metal band from Kassel, founded in 1984 and one of the veterans of the northern Hesse scene. The 1980s EP "Fairies Return" was followed by two albums in the 90s, "An Atheist Monument" on Massacre Records in 2014 and "Dead World Legacy" in February 2026. Founding members Daniel Zimmermann (guitar, vocals) and bassist Matthias Kraft are still in the band; the music sits between classic heavy metal, US metal and 80s power metal.
