Rodgau Monotones

Rodgau Monotones were founded in 1977 by five musicians from Rodgau in Hesse, Germany. The band became known for self-ironic songs about everyday life in Hesse, especially their anthem „Erbarme, zu spät, die Hesse komme“ and hits such as „Ei Gude wie!“ and „Volle Lotte“. Saxophonist Henni Nachtsheim left the band in 1990 to focus on the comedy duo Badesalz.
