Seasons in Black

MetalHardcore

Seasons In Black were formed in 1996 in the Bavarian Forest and started out as a death/black metal band before developing their own style, which they call "doomcore" – a blend of gothic metal, hardcore punk and groove metal. The band's name is derived from the End of Green song "Seasons of Black." With their 2025 album "Anthropocene," featuring guest appearances by Michael Rhein (In Extremo) and Michelle Darkness (End Of Green), they charted in Germany for the first time (peak position #35) and played festivals including Summer Breeze and Wacken Open Air.
