Sharp Pins

Sharp Pins is the lo-fi power pop project of Chicago musician Kai Slater, who also plays in the post-punk band Lifeguard and in Dwaal Troupe. The music combines jangly guitar pop with a deliberately lo-fi production style. The album "Radio DDR" (2025, K Records/Perennial) brought the project wider recognition, including a Best New Music review from Pitchfork.
