Hardcore

Shelter is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1991 by Youth of Today vocalist Ray Cappo. Lyrics rooted in Hare Krishna philosophy earned the band the subgenre label Krishnacore. In the 1990s, Shelter were among the most influential hardcore acts alongside Snapcase, Earth Crisis, and Sick of It All. They signed to Roadrunner Records in 1995.
