SHOOM

SHOOM is a five-piece band from Groningen, the Netherlands, that started out in 2022 with intimate living-room shows. The band blends jazz influences (John Coltrane, Charlie Parker among them) with loud guitars, prominent saxophone and unusual time signatures, drawing comparisons to black midi or Black Country, New Road. After playing Eurosonic and Popronde, SHOOM toured internationally, including the UK, Denmark (SPOT Festival) and the Balkans.
