[:SITD:] is a German dark-electro and EBM band whose name stands for 'Shadows in the Dark', founded in 1996 by Carsten Jacek and Thorsten Lau in the Ruhr area. The project broke through with the single 'Snuff Machinery', followed by albums such as 'Stronghold', 'Bestie:Mensch' and 'Trauma:Ritual'.
