Slechtvalk

Slechtvalk is a Dutch black metal band originally formed in 1997 by singer/guitarist Shamgar as a solo project (initially under the name "Dommer"). The band's name is the Dutch word for peregrine falcon. The band holds a Christian background, which is unusual within the black metal scene, and combines the genre with epic, folk-tinged and Viking metal elements. After several albums, "At Death's Gate" was released in 2024 on Whirlwind Records.
