Solfatare

Solfatare is a black metal band from Brussels, Belgium, made up of T.S.G.H. on guitars and vocals, T.G.T.H. on drums and N.C.P.M. on bass. The name is taken from the sulphurous volcanic vent in the Phlegraean Fields that ancient Romans took for an entrance to the underworld. The music holds to traditional black metal roots while reaching for something more dissonant and avant-garde. Their debut album "Asservis par l’espoir" was released in May 2025 by Signal Rex, following the earlier EP "Prémices".
