SPAIN (Josh Haden)

SPAIN was formed in Los Angeles in 1993 by singer-songwriter and bassist Josh Haden (son of jazz bassist Charlie Haden). The band blends jazz, blues and indie rock influences into an atmospheric, melancholic sound and helped define the 1990s slowcore movement. Their debut album "The Blue Moods of Spain" (1995) was reissued by Rhino Records in 2025.
