SPLENDIDULA

Splendidula is a Belgian band formed in 2008, now based in Temse. The band has released three albums – the self-titled debut, Post Mortem and Somnus (2021, Argonauta Records) – evolving from sludge/doom into atmospheric black/doom metal. After the 2022 death of bassist Peter Chromiak and the departure of both guitarists, the band rebuilt its lineup; the fourth album Absentia (2026) features guest contributions from Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride) and Tim Yatras (Austere).
