Strom & Wasser

Strom & Wasser is the band project founded in 2002 by songwriter, singer and bassist Heinz Ratz, blending samba and punk, waltz and rock, tango and ska into a cabaret-flavoured mix. The band combines musical skill with political activism, including benefit tours with musicians from German refugee camps that raised over 100,000 euros in donations. Heinz Ratz is also known for unusual actions such as a 1000 km walk for homeless people and a roughly 7000 km bike tour for refugees.
