Sweet (also known as The Sweet) are a glam rock band that rose to worldwide fame in the 1970s. Formed in London, England, the band is best known for their hit singles such as "Block Buster!", "The Ballroom Blitz", "Fox on the Run", and "Love is Like Oxygen". Sweet initially adopted a bubblegum pop sound, but they later transitioned to a more hard rock-oriented style. The band achieved significant commercial success and influenced many subsequent rock and pop artists. Despite lineup changes over the years, Sweet has continued to tour and perform their classic hits.
