SWEET ERMENGARDE

Sweet Ermengarde are a gothic rock band from Bochum, Germany, formed in 2012 by bassist Lars Kappeler out of the progressive rock band Rake's Progress. The five-piece's sound echoes 1980s British gothic rock (Fields Of The Nephilim, And Also The Trees, early The Mission), built on delayed guitars and epic soundscapes. Albums include 'Raynham Hall', 'Ex Oblivione' and, most recently, 'Sacrifice' (2024).
