ten56. is a French band from Paris playing a brutal blend of metalcore, deathcore and nu-metal. Founded by vocalist Aaron Matts, formerly the frontman of Betraying the Martyrs, the band brings together musicians rooted in the French tech- and metalcore scene. Their sound leans on dark atmosphere, groove-driven down-tuned riffs and crushing breakdowns, paired with Matts' furious, deeply personal delivery on themes of addiction, mental health and inner darkness.
