The Beautiful Dead

The Beautiful Dead are a quartet from Kaiserslautern, Germany, formed in 2010. The band blends early-1980s dark wave with progressive rock elements, electronic passages and classical instrumentation such as piano and acoustic guitar. Singer Axel Westrich anchors the sound with a dark vocal timbre; the band has released the albums 'Moonlight and Hollywood' and 'To Lunar Canyons'.
