THE BIRD EXPERIENCE

THE BIRD EXPERIENCE is the band project of Dutch singer, composer and harmonica player Mees Vullings (known as frontman of Heath). The band combines voodoo-infused psychedelic blues rock with soul and funk, channeling the spirit of Screaming Jay Hawkins, Paul Butterfield, and Eric Burdon & War. Before playing a single live show, a booking agency and record label had already signed on, and appearances at festivals such as Roadburn and Bevrijdingsfestival followed. Their self-titled debut album was released via Suburban Records in May 2026.
