The Black Tornados

The Black Tornado is the long-standing backing band of Danish blues musician Thorbjørn Risager from Copenhagen; together they have performed for over 20 years as "Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado". The band blends Chicago blues, soul, boogie and rock'n'roll, and has won the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik (2014) and the European Blues Award for Best Band (2017). They have opened for Bonnie Raitt and the Tedeschi Trucks Band and shared stages with Buddy Guy, Doyle Bramhall II and Robben Ford.
