The Dickies

The Dickies are an American punk rock band formed in 1977 in the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles. Known for their fast, melodic and humorous style, they released two defining early West Coast punk records with "The Incredible Shrinking Dickies" (1979) and "Dawn of the Dickies" (1979). Their cover of the "Banana Splits" theme and the soundtrack to "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" cemented their cult status.
