the flames

The Flames are a rockabilly band formed in Mannheim, Germany in 1993, initially playing as a trio in the style of The Reverend Horton Heat and Brian Setzer. They gained nationwide attention in 2002 with the song "Everytime," used in an Afri-Cola advertising campaign, which reached number 13 on the German charts. The band released several albums, including "Slicker" (1999), "Strike a Light" (2005) and "Caution: Heat Inside" (2009), and gradually moved musically toward indie-pop.
