THE JINXS

The Jinxs were formed in early 1989 in Mellendorf in the Wedemark district near Hannover, playing a mix of rock, pop, folk and punk. The band released five albums and played over 600 concerts across Europe, including support slots for Guano Apes, The Cure and Sisters of Mercy; their 1997 single "Stars" reached number 64 on the German airplay charts. After disbanding in 1999, the band reunited in 2001 and celebrated their 35th anniversary in 2024 with a double concert at the Blues Garage in Isernhagen.
