The Legendary Pink Dots were formed in London in August 1980 and relocated to Amsterdam in 1984, which is why they are often described as an Anglo-Dutch band. Singer/keyboardist Edward Ka-Spel has been the band's constant core member; the group has released more than forty albums spanning post-punk, electronic, ambient and noise influences.
