The Les Clöchards

The Les Clöchards are a German comedy rock'n'roll show band founded in 2005 in Rhineland-Palatinate. The five musicians radically rearrange well-known rock songs, turning Motörhead's "Ace of Spades" into Caribbean reggae or Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" into a country tune. On stage they perform as "five part-time unemployed vagabonds" in shabby-chic style, claiming to hail from a small island near Corsica. The band has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and had played roughly 500 concerts across several European countries by 2016.
