The Rose of Avalanche formed in Leeds in 1984 and belong to the British gothic rock and post-punk scene of the eighties. Singles such as L.A. Rain, Goddess and Velveteen and albums including First Avalanche, In Rock and Never Another Sunset built their name; the band reformed in 2019.
